These cards have been inspired by the great schools of Indian miniature painting, including the Mewar, Pahari, Murshidabad and Mughal schools. Each card draws from classical paintings in museum collections worldwide, reimagining figures and scenes for new occasions. The school of painting is given in brackets after each title, so the collection reads as a small thread of art history as much as a set of greetings.
